Helados founder Ruben Guiterrez began selling his authentic paletas from a pushcart in Modesto, California, in 1991. Soon Ruben’s business grew to a point where he could no longer satisfy the demand for his frozen treats in his small pushcarts.
As the Helados brand grew in scope and presence, their packaging needed to follow suit. With opportunities growing through retail giants like Costco, their brand impact needed to match those of long-established industry leaders.
Westamerica’s graphic and packaging team was called in to create a series of packages that delivered the retail impact the brand needed to continue its amazing growth trajectory.
Today Helados brand products are sold in many retail stores throughout the Southland. You’ll also see Helados merchandising graphics on many of the pushcarts in communities around Southern California.
